OPEC was appointed to carry out a programme of patient room refurbishments within a prestigious Central London hospital. The aim was to modernise and refresh multiple inpatient areas, enhancing comfort, safety and compliance standards, while maintaining a calm and uninterrupted clinical environment.
The works included full room redecorations, new vinyl and carpet flooring, bespoke joinery, fire door upgrades, and minor M&E enhancements All activities were meticulously planned and phased to ensure minimal disruption to patients, staff and visitors.
Working within a live healthcare environment required precision, empathy and flexibility. Our site teams coordinated daily with hospital management and ward staff to sequence works safely and discreetly, ensuring patient wellbeing remained the top priority.
